Here is exactly what happens after you place your order, from shipping to receiving your results. All shipping times listed are in business days.
Ordering on behalf of a patient? When completing the order form, enter the patient’s name, email address, and phone number. The kit will ship directly to the patient.
Step 1: Place Your Order
Day 0
Submit your order with Express Physicals for your at-home sleep testing kit. You will need to provide your name, email address, and phone number. Payment is submitted on the same day as your order.
Step 2: Confirmation Email and Phone Call
Within 24 hours
You will receive a confirmation email immediately after payment. Shortly after, a member of our team will call you to confirm your mailing address and email, and walk you through the next steps. This call is handled by iSleep, our testing partner, who will be conducting and reviewing your sleep study.
Make sure your phone is available. Confirming your shipping address quickly gets your kit out the door faster.
Step 3: Your Kit Ships via UPS
2 to 5 business days after confirmation
Once your shipping details are confirmed, your sleep test kit ships via UPS. Expect it to arrive within 2 to 5 business days.
Step 4: Complete Your Sleep Study
Upon arrival
Open the package and follow the instructions inside. The sleep study takes 1 to 2 nights to complete, depending on when you are able to take it. Read the instructions fully before your first night.
Step 5: Return the Device (Optional)
Within 1 to 2 business days after completing
A prepaid return label is included in your kit. Returning the device is entirely optional. If you choose to send it back, drop it in the mail within 1 to 2 business days of completing your test. Return shipping takes 2 to 5 business days.
Step 6: Receive Your Results by Email
Within 48 hours of data review
Once iSleep receives and reviews your data, your results will be emailed to you within 48 hours. There is no patient portal. Your results come directly to your inbox. Check your spam folder if you do not see your results email within 48 hours of completing your test.
Step 7: Take Your Results to Your Physician
After results are received
Your results are yours to keep. Bring them to your physician, either in person or by forwarding the email, to move forward with the next step. This may include:
- Getting cleared for a DOT Physical
- Receiving a diagnosis for sleep apnea
- Getting a prescription for a sleep apnea device
Express Physicals does not follow up after results are delivered. Your physician will guide you from here.
